His & Hers Ending Twist Makes Fans Applaud Its Killer Plot Twist

His & Hers fans are flooding social media with reactions to the show’s unexpected ending and shocking killer reveal. The final twist has sparked widespread discussion, with many viewers stunned by how the mystery unfolded in the closing minutes.

His & Hers fans are in awe of its ending plot twist and killer reveal

In the final episode of His & Hers, the series reveals that Lexy Jones is Catherine Kelly, an outcast from Anna’s high school. Police officer Priya fatally shoots Lexy during a confrontation after suspecting her of killing Rachel, Helen, and Zoe. One year later, Anna finds a letter from her mother, Alice, who confesses to committing all three murders and framing Lexy.

Alice explains that she killed the women to avenge Anna’s sexual assault at age 16, which Rachel, Helen, and Zoe orchestrated. After watching Anna’s old home videos, Alice uncovered the truth and launched her plan. She faked symptoms of dementia to deflect suspicion and planted evidence in Lexy’s home to divert the investigation. “No one expects a woman to be a serial killer,” Alice writes in her letter.

Alice placed the murder weapon and Rachel’s nail fragments in Lexy’s house and counted on Lexy’s changed appearance to keep her identity hidden. Drawing on her experience as a housekeeper, Alice used her access to the victims’ homes and her familiarity with the town to carry out the killings. She performed calculated acts such as walking home nude and leaving eggshells in meals to convince others she was mentally unstable.

After Lexy’s death, Anna and Jack adopt Zoe’s daughter Meg, and Anna returns to broadcasting. Though they reunite as a family, Jack remains unaware that Alice killed his sister Zoe. “I wouldn’t want to be around for the family Christmas when Jack finds out,” says director William Oldroyd.

Fans on social media expressed shock at the ending. One user posted, “A mother’s love is all I gotta say!” Another wrote, “That’s how you do a plot twist.”

A third said the finale made them “sit in silence and question everything.”

Another wrote that it is “the exact plot twist I want to witness in every single show I watch.”

The six-part show is available to watch on Netflix.
