‘Badass’: Friends Actor Praises Costar Jennifer Aniston’s Villainous Role

Jennifer Aniston has been recalling a popular role in a moment with Courteney Cox. The Friends co-stars recently shot for a hair brand commercial. In the ad, Aniston ended up remembering her look in 2011’s Horrible Bosses.

What Courteney Cox said about Jennifer Aniston’s character in Horrible Bosses

Jennifer Aniston took to her Instagram to share a video of a LolaVie ad alongside bff Courteney Cox. The 56-year-old captioned the post, “Do blondes *reeeaaalllyyy* have more fun??” In the reel, Aniston is sitting in front of a mirror in a sleeveless black top and denim jeans. She answers a question related to her hair color, “Would I ever go brunette? I am brunette.” Further, Cox shows up in a pink bathrobe saying, “Oh, wait. Oh, you are?”

She puts her hair over Aniston’s before saying, “Here, this is what she looks like brunette,” while the latter says, “I am brunette.” The Morning Show star observes her hair color and claims, “That’s black.” However, the 61-year-old replies, “It’s not black,” before asking, “Let’s see if that was a good,” referring to her hair.” Aniston further exclaims, “It’s dark”, and Cox states, “It’s dark brown.”

Soon, Aniston recalls her look in the crime-comedy drama, Horrible Bosses. She says, “Oh, this is like the Horrible Bosses character I played.” Cox exclaims, “I love Horrible Bosses!”, adding that Aniston played a “badass dentist” in the film. Later, Aniston says. “Would I ever go brunette?. Yes. Well, that was, you saw the answer, right?” She continues, “Did I? Did that work? That I was a natural brunette?. This is fake.”

In an interview, Aniston recalled how she fought for the wig she wore in the 2011 film. She told Vanity Fair, “I wanted [my character] to look different. The argument from the studio, and I am sorry to call you out, was that ‘we are afraid it won’t look like you.’” She also said, “That’s kind of the point! I still think it might look like a little bit like me. But I’m glad I fought for it and stuck to my guns.”
