During a live stream, Post Malone attempted a backflip inside his room, but things didn’t go as well as he had probably hoped for. The rapper tried the move during a collaborative stream with the popular streamer xQc, promoting his upcoming video game event, Murder Circus Encore.
Post Malone falls during hilarious backflip attempt
Post Malone was streaming with Canadian streamer xQc on Monday when he attempted a backflip off a chair. Before he hopped on the chair, Malone said, “This is just an attempt,” to which xQc responded, “I’m scared a little bit.”
The Grammy-winner then climbed onto the chair, but when he went for the flip, he lost his balance and fell on his back. He quickly got up and gave a thumbs-up towards the camera, saying, “It’s alright,” and added, “I actually hurt my wrist.”
Despite his busy schedule as one of the most popular American musicians, Post Malone maintains an official Twitch channel, where he occasionally streams himself playing games. He recently worked with Crytek, the game studio behind Hunt: Showdown 1896, for their in-game event, titled “Murder Circus Encore.” He then hosted a 10-hour marathon session with streamer xQc to promote it. The livestream was a major hit, garnering over 935,000 viewers (via iHeart).
In addition to his gaming venture, the 30-year-old singer also mentioned that he might release two albums in 2026. He said, “Chances are, chat, we are getting two albums in 2026. If everything goes my way.” xQc asked, “What kind of genre? What kind of vibe is it going to have? Give us a spoiler.” Malone replied, “A little bit of everything.”
xQc followed up, asking, “A little bit of rock? A little bit of guitar?” Post Malone then responded, “I think folk will be happy. Well, I hope folks will be happy. I’m getting the boys coming out for New Year’s, and we’re going to write, record, and get it all done.”
