All’s Fair Star Talks Working With Kim Kardashian on Hulu Show

Teyana Taylor says teaming up with Kim Kardashian on Hulu’s legal drama All’s Fair was way more than just another acting job. It actually turned their friendship into something like “sisterhood.” Playing the aspiring lawyer, Milan, Teyana shared that working with Kim and the all-star cast of powerhouse women brought a real sense of camaraderie, calling the experience “really good.”

Teyana Taylor reflects on working with Kim Kardashian on All’s Fair

Taylor, 35, told People that even though she and Kardashian, 45, already knew each other before filming, working on the series brought them way closer. They came in friends and wrapped the show as sisters, she said. The One Battle After Another alum also called the experience “really good” and said having a supportive crew made every day feel worthwhile.

“Well, we were already friends before, but honestly, the show really brought us closer. We really went into the show friends and finished out the show as sisters,” Taylor said. She also gave shoutouts to the rest of the cast, saying the women fostered a real sense of sisterhood. She loved working in a space built on respect and genuine care, adding, “I’ve been super lucky to be able to go to work to people that I actually love on every set that I’ve been on.”

Taylor’s connection with Kardashian isn’t just about All’s Fair. She’s also got a history with Kardashian’s ex, Kanye West. They first crossed paths back in 2008 during his Glow in the Dark tour. She lent background vocals on his 2010 track “Dark Fantasy” and worked with his G.O.O.D Music/Def Jam label in 2012. She even starred in the 2016 music video for “Fade,” directed by Ye himself.

In All’s Fair, Kardashian plays Allura Grant, a powerhouse attorney who tries to make her own mark in the male-dominated legal space. Taylor’s character, Milan, is the ambitious newbie trying to find her footing while learning from Allura and handling her own slip-ups.
