MrBeast Agrees To Film in Space in Resurfaced Clip

During an interview earlier this year, James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson, better known online as MrBeast, shared his ambition to film a video in space. As the most subscribed-to YouTuber on the video-sharing platform, Jimmy constantly looks forward to pushing his limits. In a resurfaced clip, he speaks about filming a video in space, agreeing to try and do it on one condition.

MrBeast shares the condition under which he will film a video in space

In a viral clip of MrBeast answering questions during an interview with Dexerto, the YouTuber opened up about a video he wishes he could make but can’t. “I mean, could you imagine you just open YouTube, and it’s like, ‘I am on the Moon,’ and then I’m like literally live streaming from the moon. That would be sick,” he responded.

“Obviously, we’re working on going to space, things like that. But, you know, I’m a simple man. I just want a 99.5% chance of survival. If you can guarantee me that, I’m down,” he added. “But obviously, you know, that’s like billions of dollars, and I don’t have billions of dollars.”

Users reacted to the clip with hilarious replies, including one who joked about what a MrBeast-style challenge might look like, writing, “First challenge: survive 100 days on the moon with these limited supplies.” Another user replied, “BREAKING: elon musk x mr beast collab set to be in 2026. Source: trust me bro.”

Other users, addressing Jimmy’s comments, wrote, “That 99.5% survival chance is a spicy statistic for a video idea lol. gotta admit it’s a wild flex though,” and “99.5%? MrBeast’s risk assessment is wild! Wonder what the views-to-almost-dying ratio would be?”

Much of MrBeast’s fame comes from generous giveaways and his style of pushing each video to the extreme; however, a video shot in space would be tough to beat.
