Jason Kelce confessed he isn’t sure if he will be the best man at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding. Additionally, he revealed he isn’t sure if the wedding will feature a best man at all.
The host asked, “Big wedding coming up. How prepared are you and what are you going to say in your best man’s speech?” To which Jason replied, “Time will tell if there is one or anything like that. I have been given no details on that front. But, you know, I think, however I’m involved, I’ll be happy to be, and I’m just happy for those two”. (via GMA).
The Eagles alum’s comment hinted at the fact that the couple could forgo the best man tradition in favor of a formal wedding party. Previously, Jason guested on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast, where he admitted he was “hoping” Travis would ask him to be his best man at his wedding.
The 38-year-old said, “I’m hoping I’m the best man. We’ll see. Trav has a lot of friends. I’m just hoping to get the opportunity.” Jason was careful not to reveal more than what was necessary. Earlier this month, a source revealed to PEOPLE that Travis and Taylor are taking equal responsibility when it comes to their wedding planning.
The source shared, “When it comes to wedding planning, nothing feels rushed or one-sided. They’re both equally involved and excited, and this isn’t something one or the other is carrying on their own.
