Kylie Kelce found it hard to believe Travis Kelce’s claim that he and his fiancée, Taylor Swift, never fight. During an episode of the New Heights podcast, she asked whether he was joking about the comment, but Travis played coy. While he admitted he’s a fierce competitor on the NFL field, he claimed that in his love life, he’s more peaceful.
Travis Kelce talks about no fighting with Taylor Swift
During a conversation on the New Heights podcast, Kylie, for the second time, asked Travis whether he was joking about his claim of not fighting Swift. She believed he meant it sarcastically, given that he giggled right after the comment. Kelce played coy about Kylie’s question over the no-fight claims. However, Jason and Kylie then laughed and replied, “Fight, wow. Fight who? Who do I fight?”
Jason then mentioned that his brother fights defensive players on the NFL field. To this, Travis responded, “Oh defensive guys? Yeah, I fight. I’m a fighter in that sense of it.” Though Kylie had a hard time believing Travis’s comments, he further clarified that it’s true that he and Swift don’t fight. Kylie then said that she and Jason don’t fight either. Travis further agreed to her claims by saying, “I mean, I can attest to it, I’ve never seen it.”
Recently, Swift shared in a new episode of the pop superstar’s Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era, how she and Travis manage to maintain their relationship while navigating their demanding careers. Explaining the challenges with relationships on tour, she added, “Relationships on tour has always been something I’ve really struggled with because it’s always felt like the tour was taking away from the relationship. Somehow, I was not able to do both and feel like I was nurturing both at the same time, even though I would try and try and try and try.”
She further revealed how things have changed since she got together with Kelce, noting that they share a similar career trajectory and are deeply passionate about their professional lives. Swift also explained how they balance their careers with their personal life, saying, “I don’t think I ever thought I’d meet a guy who had that same trajectory. And I’ve realized that with this person in my life, that this was the right fit for me. You can have the two passions coexist, and they actually fuel each other. Ultimately, we love cheering each other on. That’s rad” (via PEOPLE).
