Travis Kelce confessed he feels he let down his head coach, Andy Reid, this season. He said, “It’s frustrating, man. It’s frustrating. I feel like I can’t even look my guy, Coach Andy Reid, in his eyes right now. I feel like I disappointed or I just let him down in some way, somehow, throughout the year.”

Interviewer Gonzalez interrupted and asked, “Wait, you feel you let down Andy Reid?” The 36-year-old Chiefs TE admitted, “Of course, yeah. He is our fearless leader.” Gonzalez asked him again, “Why do you feel that way?”

Kelce explained, “I just feel like it’s my job to go out there and make it happen. That’s the kind of pride I have always played with, especially playing for him, knowing how hard he works and how prepared he always is.”

Continuing further, he shared, “I just feel like you’ve got to look at yourself in the mirror and put the biggest expectations on yourself to be able to get it done. It is not always realistic, but at the same time, it’s helped me.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Kelce shared, “I think I’m still searching for those answers. Obviously, the way this one ended with a sour taste in my mouth. I feel motivated but I’ve got to make the right decision for me. I gotta hope that if I do wanna come back that the Chiefs are willing to bring me back. It’s a two-way street on that.”
