How King Charles Is Safeguarding Monarchy & Legacy Amid Scandals — Expert

King Charles has reportedly been taking measures to protect the monarchy from scandals. According to a source, the 77-year-old has allegedly been building a protective shield to guard the royal legacy by throwing himself into “relentless” work.

He seemed to believe that increasing the amount of work might keep the kingdom safe and sound. Since his reign, the king has had to deal with his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s past controversies and the relationship dynamics with his second son, Prince Harry.

King Charles is ‘upping his workload to compensate’ for ongoing scandals, says expert

King Charles’ monarchy faced many controversies and scandals this year. From ex-Prince Andrew’s title removal to speculations about Prince Harry’s return to the United Kingdom, the monarch had to deal with many issues. However, an expert told The Mirror that the king has allegedly found a solution to handle the ongoing scandals.

Royal expert Jennie Bond claimed that the father of two used his “schedule” to deal with controversies strategically. “The King is upping his workload to compensate,” she said. His mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, ruled England for decades. Thus, he reportedly felt responsible for safeguarding the legacy.

“He is a man with a mission: to protect his mother’s legacy, make his own mark on the monarchy, and then to hand it over in fine fettle to his son, William, when the time comes,” Bond added.

Furthermore, the source highlighted the “fundamental differences” between the king and his heir, Prince William. Both would allegedly want to protect the monarchy, but their approach are not similar. While Charles goes with a packed-up schedule, the Prince of Wales’ major focus is reportedly on how much his presence has an “impact” on solving an issue.

“William tends to concentrate on single engagements” and “wants to see concrete results from his involvement,” the expert explained. Bond also added that the king would reportedly continue to work at a strong pace without slowing down.
