Elsie Hewitt took to social media to share a photo of a shirtless Pete Davidson embracing their newborn daughter. In a brief caption, she affectionately referred to the father-daughter duo as her “best friends.” The image also offered a glimpse of Davidson’s tattoo removal progress; the comedian previously revealed that his struggles with mental health and addiction had led him to get the ink, but he is now having it removed as he begins a new chapter in his life.

Hewitt shared two photos on her Instagram, with a short caption. One photo featured her in black attire, tucking her daughter Scottie, who’s covered in a pink blanket, on her shoulder. Another photo shows Davidson embracing their baby while being surrounded by stuffed toys. This photo also captured some erased tattoos from Davidson’s body. The caption read, “MY BEST FRIENDS,” followed by three pink heart emojis.
Hewitt and Davidson were romantically linked in March 2025, when they were first spotted together on Palm Beach. In the same month, they made their relationship official on Instagram, with Hewitt posting a video of Davidson wearing a bathrobe, with Rugrats playing on TV. In July 2025, she took to Instagram to announce that she and Davidson are expecting a baby, sharing a series of pregnancy pictures. Her caption read, “welp now everyone knows we had sex.” This month, the duo welcomed their first daughter.
Apart from entering his fatherhood era, Davidson is also focused on improving his life and taking care of his mental health. In an interview with Variety, he opened up about his drug addiction and tattoo removal backstory.
He said, “I used to be a drug addict and I was a sad person, and I felt ugly and that I needed to be covered up. So I’m just removing them and starting fresh, because that’s what I think works best for me and for my brain. When I look in the mirror, I don’t want the reminder of ‘Oh yeah, you were a fucking drug addict. Like, that’s why you have SpongeBob smoking a joint on your back.’”
