But the real secret to his regimen might be what happens at 7 a.m. In a recent Instagram video from his kitchen, the Ted star showed the substantial breakfast he consumes like clockwork after training. “I eat the same breakfast every day but I feel better every day!!” he wrote in the caption.

In the video, Wahlberg reveals that he starts with three boiled brown eggs, followed by scrambled eggs and lean turkey. The video showcases a generous platter of salmon adorned with lemon and blueberries as well. “Same s—, every day,” Wahlberg says, gesturing to the salmon with a smile, before adding, “Wow, look at that beautiful salmon.”

For Mark Wahlberg, this protein-rich meal is an essential routine to do after his grueling workouts, helping repair muscle and sustain energy. He earlier admitted that the early wake-up call is a constant battle. He told People last year about his temptation to sleep in and said, “I feel it more often than you think.”

However, his motivation to push through seems unwavering. “I don’t want to miss something because if, God forbid, I kind of cut corners, don’t show up, don’t put the work in and I don’t get the results that I want, I know why. I don’t want to live with that regret,” he explained. He further noted, “I always feel better after, and I just go and get it in.”

It looks like for Wahlberg, the brutal 4 a.m. start is just the first step, with serving as the critical finishing touch.
