Kyle Chrisley, the eldest son of reality television star Todd Chrisley, has reportedly been arrested in Tennessee and faces multiple criminal charges following an alleged incident on December 20.

Rutherford County Adult Detention Center booked Kyle Chrisley on charges including domestic assault, assault of law enforcement officers, public intoxication, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. Records reviewed by USA Today show that details surrounding the arrest were not immediately available at the time of reporting. Chrisley is scheduled to appear in court for a hearing on January 27.
The December 20 arrest adds to a series of recent legal issues involving Kyle Chrisley. Reported court records show that he was arrested in September 2024 on charges of aggravated assault, a felony, and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. A court date in that case is scheduled for February 26.
Following the September arrest, Kyle and his wife, Ashleigh Chrisley, filed a lawsuit against Rutherford County deputies, alleging false arrest and excessive force. The complaint obtained by the outlet is about an alleged altercation involving a mechanic at the couple’s Murfreesboro home.
According to deputies, Kyle Chrisley allegedly “grabbed a knife” from his toolbox and “attempted to stab” the mechanic, who reportedly sustained a cut to his arm. Chrisley denied the allegation, saying he was acting in “self-defense.”
He further alleged that the mechanic, upset over a payment dispute, “kicked at the doors” of their home, struck the couple’s SUV, and “nearly” ran over Kyle Chrisley in front of neighbors. Deputies reported that the mechanic told them he hit the vehicle while trying to flee the scene.
Kyle Chrisley is the son of Todd Chrisley, who is best known for starring in the USA Network reality series Chrisley Knows Best. Kyle appeared briefly in two episodes during the show’s first season in 2014. He is Todd Chrisley’s child with his first wife, Teresa Terry, with whom Todd also shares daughter Lindsie.
