On December 21, The Sun reported that Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge have ended their relationship. The “Vampire” singer allegedly broke down in tears at Lily Allen’s star-studded Christmas party at Stringfellows, a strip club in London.
A source said, “They made such a lovely couple so people who know them were shocked when they heard. It’s not been the easiest few weeks for them and they decided it’s better to be apart for now. Olivia was at Lily’s party and emotional when she was talking about it. Her friends have rallied around her but it’s just been pretty rough. It’s really sad right now.”
Rodrigo and Partridge were first rumoured to be dating in October 2023 when they were spotted together in London. They went Instagram official in August 2024. Partridge took to his Instagram story to share a snap from their appearance at the Venice Film Festival, where Rodrigo supported the British star for the premiere of his show, “Disclaimer.”
In an interview with Variety in September, Partridge said, “I can handle that,” referring to the fact that many knew him better as Rodrigo’s boyfriend. He was promoting his Netflix period crime drama series, “House of Guinness” at the time.
As far as having the “Mr. Olivia Rodrigo” title was concerned, he said he had had it for “a while now. I’m very happy, and I think she is too, so all is good in our world.” The couple frequently shared posts about each other on social media and made joint appearances at public events.
