The rumor began when an X account reposted a screenshot. It showed a comment allegedly from Sexyy Red reading, “Bitch let’s be sister wives,” under a clip of GloRilla and Brandon Ingram. The screenshot was shared by other accounts and quickly drew attention.
GloRilla responded directly on X, writing, “Dats fake stop playing wit me.” Sexyy Red also pushed back. She posted, “I wasn’t even gone say nun but this is weird and fake as I don’t even play des kinda games df… & whoever sat there and thought to do dis is hella lame !!”
Both replies made clear the comment was not authentic. Media outlets that reposted the screenshot later removed or corrected it after the artists denied the claim.
Fans were quite shocked by the fake news. After it was clarified, they wrote, “I’m glad you spoke up because this whole thing is weird. But you already know these weirdos have nothing else to do. Whoever made up that lie is seriously out of line.”
GloRilla and Brandon Ingram have been linked publicly in recent months, though GloRilla has kept many details private. In a recent interview with Complex, she said she prefers to keep the relationship low-key. The artist expressed, “I’m not gonna speak too much about our relationship because I kind of like our privacy … We don’t really be too much in the public.” When asked who made the first move, she answered simply, “Him!”
