36-year-old content creator Ash Trevino, whose real name is Ashley Lopez-Trevino, was reportedly arrested on felony charges in Texas on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, according to PEOPLE. The influencer, who has seen her share of controversies, was booked into Ellis County Jail, from where she was released on bond.
She has frequently drawn backlash online for discussing in explicit detail her preference to date inmates. Trevino was reportedly taken in “without incident,” as per police documents.
A spokesperson for the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to PEOPLE that the content creator was later released on bond of $15,000. However, they did not disclose any other information as Trevino was already out of custody. There has also been no confirmation of the charges that the content creator faced.
Ash Trevino shared a video on her Snapchat after she was released from custody. She appeared to be laughing as she exited the jail. Someone behind her can be heard saying, “She’s free. She’s out.” She reportedly told her followers later that day that she had an attorney and had plans to go to a casino later in the day.
However, Trevino has not responded officially or given out any statement regarding this arrest.
