Bradley Cooper’s Epic Comedy Trilogy Will Leave Netflix in 2026

The Hangover trilogy, starring Bradley Cooper, will be leaving Netflix soon. The first Hangover movie made its debut in theaters in 2009, with sequels promptly following in 2011 and 2013. The films feature a talented cast alongside Cooper, which includes Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, and many more.

The Hangover trilogy is leaving Netflix next month

According to a report by What’s On Netflix, The Hangover trilogy is all set to leave Netflix on January 1, 2026. The Hangover, which came out on June 5, 2009, was a major hit at the box office.

Directed by Todd Phillips, the R-rated comedy movie sits with a score of 79 percent on the Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 238 critic reviews, and a score of 84 percent on the Popcornmeter based on audience reviews. At the box office, The Hangover secured an opening of $44 million. In the domestic market, it made around $277 million overall, whereas in the international market, it earned $191 million. This took the movie’s total collection to $468 million. However, its successor, The Hangover Part II, was a much bigger financial success than the first part.

The Hangover Part II went on to become the highest-grossing movie of the franchise. It opened with a total of $85 million at the box office and grossed $254 million in the domestic market. In the international market, it earned $332 million, which took its total to $586 million, according to Box Office Mojo.

The Hangover Part III, while still successful, became the lowest-grossing movie of the franchise, and was also the least well-recieved by both critics and fans. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a low score of 21 percent on the Tomatometer based on 199 critic reviews. On the Popcornmeter, it has a score of 44 percent based on audience reviews. At the box office, The Hangover Part III opened with $41 million and made around $112 million in the domestic market, and $249 million in the international market. Its lifetime gross amounted to $362 million.
