Taylor Swift Dishes Secret to Enduring Constant Physical Pain on Eras Tour

Taylor Swift appeared on Stephen Colbert’s talk show, discussing how her Versace bodysuit helped her in moments of pain during the Eras Tour. The singer spent about two years on the road, performing for more than three hours every night. Moreover, she took it across five continents. As she looked back on the experience, she shared what helped her push through the exhaustion and the constant pain that came with her intense schedule.

Taylor Swift reveals Eras Tour Versace bodysuit helped her through physical pain

During her recent appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Taylor Swift explained that the sparkling Versace bodysuit she wore during the “Lover” section of the tour gave her a kind of confidence that cut through whatever physical pain she felt. She told Colbert, “I got to wear this, like, very sparkly Versace bodysuit,” explaining why it mattered so much.

In that, she said that she could be going through anything from coughing to catching a virus, but the suit got her through everything. Swift explained, “I was constantly in a lot of physical pain, but when I put that on, I was just like, ‘No, this is popping. I’m doing it. We’re going.’”

The musician compared the feeling to the boost she got from a special outfit she wore as a kid while performing the national anthem at age 12. She laughed as she told Colbert about the difference between her 12-year-old self versus her current self, saying, “I’m taller, and I know more words.”

Swift then explained, “So, like, you know when you’re, like, 11 and you’ve got that one outfit that you just know, like, goes so hard?” adding, “When you put this on, you’re like, ‘I’m sorry. I’m unstoppable today.’” That was the feeling Swift had when she wore her Versace bodysuit.

Her comments came as she promoted “The End of an Era,” her six‑part Disney+ docuseries. The release highlights backstage moments as well as personal life, including moments with Travis Kelce.
