All 7 Seasons of Popular Crime Drama Show Sets Netflix Streaming Date

Rizzoli & Isles, the popular crime drama, is set to reach a new audience, with Netflix adding the show to its library. The move brings the complete run of the TNT procedural drama to the streaming platform. It offers viewers the chance to binge-watch the full series.

Rizzoli & Isles begins streaming on Netflix in January 2025

Netflix is set to bring back a familiar crime drama favorite with the addition of Rizzoli & Isles, which will become available to stream in January 2025. All seven seasons of the TNT series are scheduled to arrive on the platform on January 20.

Based on the bestselling novels by Tess Gerritsen, Rizzoli & Isles debuted in 2010. It ran for seven seasons before concluding in 2016. The series built a loyal audience during its broadcast run, focusing on weekly murder investigations.

Set in Boston, the series centers on homicide detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Maura Isles, whose professional collaboration drives each investigation. Rizzoli approaches cases with determination and instinct shaped by years in the field. Meanwhile, Isles uses careful forensic drawn from her work in the morgue. Despite their differing methods, the two women develop a strong working relationship and personal friendship. They combine their expertise to solve complex crimes throughout the series.

Angie Harmon leads the cast as Jane Rizzoli, with Sasha Alexander co-starring as Maura Isles. Furthermore, the supporting ensemble includes Lorraine Bracco, Bruce McGill, Jordan Bridges, and Lee Thompson Young, among others. 

Throughout its time on TNT, Rizzoli & Isles received industry recognition. This includes nominations from the People’s Choice Awards and the Young Artist Awards. Moreover, its upcoming availability on Netflix is expected to introduce the series to a new generation of viewers while providing longtime fans an opportunity to re-watch the complete series in one place.
