He told the singer that he would show a photo of an animal, and they had to guess the correct sound. He would then play the real animal voice, and whoever would closely resemble it would win. The first animal was the “Barn Owl,” and Carpenter went making a “whoo” sound. Meanwhile, Meyers was a bit aggressive with his voice and claimed that he was closer to the actual sound.
The 26-year-old shockingly asked, “You think you’ve won?” To this, the comedian smugly answered yes. But the actress counterattacked, saying that none of them “hissed.” Their banter continued with each animal photo Meyers presented. After the owl, they created the sound of a walrus, and the hitmaker tried to imitate the mammal’s ivory by using straws.
While Carpenter tried her best to match the sound with the picture presentation, she was losing the game. However, during the “Raccoons Fighting” section, the duo made similar noises, leaving themselves in stitches. The segment ended with “Proboscis Monkey,” which resulted in another fit of laughter.
Meanwhile, fans had the best reactions in the comment section. They found the drinking game “funny.”
