According to sources cited by the Daily Mail, Berrios was reportedly caught off guard when Earle decided to end their two-year relationship. One insider claimed the NFL wide receiver did not initiate the breakup and was “initially blindsided” by the decision. While the source suggested Berrios still has strong feelings and would be open to working through challenges, other individuals close to Earle painted a very different picture.
A separate family source alleged the relationship is firmly over, claiming there are no plans for the couple to reunite. According to that insider, Earle had been increasingly unhappy with how the relationship was progressing, particularly as their schedules pulled them in opposite directions. “They spent a lot of time apart and weren’t together over Thanksgiving,” the source claimed.
What’s more, Earle publicly addressed the split in a tearful social media video on Saturday. The 24-year-old influencer told followers that she and Berrios were on “two different paths.” She explained that her focus has shifted toward personal growth and career commitments. Further, she explained she couldn’t be the partner Berrios needed while juggling constant travel. She emphasized that the decision was difficult and that she still cares deeply for him.
Much of the strain reportedly stemmed from long distance. Earlier this year, Earle temporarily moved into Berrios’ Miami home while preparing for a demanding schedule that included filming “Dancing with the Stars.” At the same time, Berrios was relocated to Texas for football, further complicating their ability to spend time together.
While fans questioned Berrios’ absence from the “DWTS” ballroom, Earle previously defended him, citing his professional obligations. A show source later claimed the couple stayed in close contact throughout the season. However, the pair struggled with the emotional toll of being apart.
