Cardi B Gives Three Word Response to JD Vance’s Tweet

United States Vice President JD Vance recently claimed on social media that Nicki Minaj was better than Cardi B. This was in response to Minaj claiming that Vance was better than “rants.” Now, Cardi B has seemingly reacted to Vance’s tweet with a three-word response that doesn’t directly address the latter.

Nicki Minaj wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “Vance>Rants.” JD Vance responded to this with his own tweet, opining that the Pink Friday artist was better than Cardi B. His tweet read, “Nicki>Cardi.”

Cardi B has since seemingly responded to JD Vance’s tweet. However, instead of addressing the Vice President directly, she drew attention to her own fame with three words, “I’m sooo famous.”

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have been in a longstanding feud that dates back to 2017. The feud reportedly began when Pop Crave shared a screenshot from Media Take Out that seemingly showed Minaj liking an Instagram comment mocking Cardi B’s rap verses, labeling them “dumb a** bars.” However, a fan tweeted claiming that the comment was fake, which Minaj liked.

Speculation about their feud intensified following Minaj’s appearance on London on da Track’s “No Flag” and Cardi B’s appearance on G-Eazy’s “No Limit.” In these songs, fans took note of certain verses, assuming they were Minaj and Cardi B’s digs at one another.

Minaj’s verse read, “I heard these labels are trying to make another me / Everything you’re getting little h** is because of me.” Meanwhile, Cardi B’s verse read, “Can you stop with all the subs? / B***h I ain’t Jared.” However, both Minaj and Cardi B denied that their verses were aimed at one another in separate interviews.

Discussions about their feud increased after both featured on the 2017 Migos music video, “MotorSport,” but appeared separately. Things came to a head in September 2018 at the New York Fashion Week party.

Cardi B tried to fight Minaj but suffered a lump on her head as a result. Cardi later wrote on Instagram that her fight with Minaj was sparked after the latter liked comments that addressed Cardi B’s abilities as a mother and commented about her daughter. However, Minaj reportedly denied Cardi B’s claims.

The pair reignited their feud in September 2025 following the release of Cardi B’s album, Am I The Drama?. Minaj insinuated that Cardi B inflated album sales. This led to a back-and-forth between them on X, where they hurled insults at each other’s careers and families.
