Channing Tatum’s acclaimed film, Roofman, has set a streaming release date on Paramount+. Helmed by Derek Cianfrance, the crime drama film premiered in theatres on October 10, 2025, and garnered significant positive reviews. Upon release, it was received well by both critics and the audience.
Roofman to stream on Paramount+ very soon
Channing Tatum’s latest film is ready to premiere on Paramount+. This comes hot on the heels of its theatrical release.
As per an official statement, Roofman will be available for viewers on the streaming platform from December 9, 2025, onwards.
Roofman features Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst in the leading roles. The film is based on a real-life robber, Jeffrey Manchester, who hides out in a toy store after escaping from prison. Notably, Tatum previously revealed that he talked to Manchester regularly while preparing for the role.
The Derek Cianfrance film garnered a lot of acclaim upon release. Currently, it holds an 86 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer, based on 202 reviews. Moreover, it has an 85 percent score on the Popcornmeter. As per Box Office Mojo, it earned over $33.5 million worldwide.
The official synopsis for Roofman reads, “The film follows Jeffrey Manchester, a former Army Ranger and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman. After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys ‘R’ Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move.”
It continues, “But when he falls for Leigh, a divorced mom drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.”
Apart from Tatum and Dunst, the film also stars LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Peter Dinklage, Ben Mendelsohn, Melonie Diaz, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias, and Jimmy O. Yang.
Roofman originally premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2025. After its theatrical release on October 10, 2025, the film has been available to rent and purchase since November 11, 2025.
