What Jenna Dewan & Channing Tatum Get in Their Divorce Deal — Report

Newly surfaced court filings are shedding light on the long-running financial negotiations between Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum. The former couple, who finalized their divorce in September last year, spent years ironing out the details of their settlement. Now, new documents reportedly reveal how their retirement savings and key earnings will be divided after nearly a decade of marriage.

Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum are reportedly entitled to 50 percent of each other’s retirement benefits

According to court papers obtained by Page Six, Channing Tatum, 45, and Jenna Dewan, 44, will each receive half of the other’s Screen Actors Guild producers’ pension benefits accumulated during their marriage. The pension split only applies to contributions made during their nearly nine years together. It represents one of several financial matters the pair has been working to resolve since Dewan first filed for divorce in 2018.

The new filing arrives after a contentious and slow-moving legal process. One of the biggest sticking points in the case has reportedly been profits from Tatum’s “Magic Mike” franchise. Because Tatum began developing and filming the first film while the couple was still married, Dewan has maintained she is entitled to a share of the earnings. Tatum, for his part, has alleged through his attorneys that Dewan’s side used “delay tactics,” claiming in August 2024 that he had made repeated attempts to settle the matter outside the courtroom.

Meanwhile, Dewan’s legal team has pushed back on that characterization. They accused Tatum of withholding key financial documents related to the franchise. In filings referenced by Page Six, her attorneys argued that the actor was slowing the trial process and benefiting from ongoing “Magic Mike” proceeds while the case dragged on.

Despite the lengthy process of finalizing the settlement, both sides have reached an agreement on several key issues. They share joint legal and physical custody of their 12-year-old daughter, Everly. Furthermore, they have committed to privately consulting a judge should disagreements arise over child support in the future.

That said, in a September interview with Variety, Tatum said the two had reached a more peaceful place after the breakup. “Jenna and I are good now,” he said, though he admitted the split and sharing custody had been emotionally challenging.
