Sabrina Carpenter ‘Could Pass’ as a Royal, Claims Former Royal Butler

Sabrina Carpenter reportedly received some significant etiquette lessons from Grant Harrold, a royal butler, in 2017 when she was just 18 years old. The etiquette session was right before the MTV Awards that year. The royal butler has now reportedly claimed that the “Please Please Please” singer has the potential to make a “great queen.”

Former royal butler claims Sabrina Carpenter was ‘natural’ at etiquette class

Sabrina Carpenter was reportedly a “natural” when she got to learn about etiquette from Grant Harrold in 2017. During the lesson session, the pop star learned about what to say and what not to say at afternoon tea times and more. As reported by The Sun, the royal butler told them that the singer was “very natural,” although she “rolled her eyes” at Harrold, who worked for King Charles from 2007 to 2011.

Harrold said that the etiquette session with Carpenter was more “Downton Abbey than Mean Girls.” The royal butler explained, “She’s very chilled, laid-back and didn’t act like a superstar.” He continued, “If we could’ve got her into a tiara, she’d have been up for it.” After that, the royal butler said, “She began eye-rolling at the start.” He also added, “She wasn’t too sure.”

According to the news outlet, Harrold then explained that Carpenter’s “curtsy was a bit too theatrical.” He continued, “Perfect for one of her shows, not for meeting the King.” However, the royal butler added, “But she was very natural.” He continued, “I didn’t have to confiscate anything.” He further said, “She was very good about her phone.” Harrold also expressed, “She could pass at the Palace quite easily.”

Meanwhile, the royal butler talked about whether Carpenter would get along with the royal family members. Harrold claimed, “I can see her getting along with William and Kate, and the King.” He continued, “She’s charming, confident, assertive,” further adding, “She’d make a future great queen.”
