Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly been prioritizing their marriage lately. A source told Star magazine that the Wales couple has been “sneaking away” for small “weekend breaks while they still have the chance.” Allegedly, they have always been secretive about their destinations; hence, the duo has seemingly kept these getaways “very hush-hush.”
“They can pop over to Scotland any time, which they intend to do early next year,” the insider stated. Aside from their romantic trips, William and Middleton have also reportedly planned a vacation with their three kids — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. According to the insider, the proud parents would likely take their children to Mustique.
Furthermore, the reason behind their little breaks has reportedly to do with their increasing royal responsibilities. As per the informant, the couple’s “workload and time required will quadruple” once they become the king and queen. “They’ve already been called upon to take on more responsibility, so they have a very real idea of what awaits them,” they added.
Meanwhile, the family of five has moved to their new home in Windsor — Forest Lodge. Earlier, they were staying at Adelaide Cottage, which is about four miles away from their current address. As per reports, the new residence would be their forever home, even after they take over the throne.
