Millie Bobby Brown has set the record straight about her relationship with David Harbour, amid rumors of workplace tension and alleged harassment. The Stranger Things star got candid about working closely with Harbour, stating that she “felt safe” with her longtime co-star.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Millie Bobby Brown opened up about working with David Harbour on Stranger Things as the series nears its epic conclusion.
“David and I have a great relationship,” Brown stated. “We work really closely together in the scenes and in preparing for the scenes. I really am excited for everyone to see the labor of love and hard work we’ve put into the closure of our relationship and what that looks like, and to give some of the fans,” she added.
The first four episodes of the Stranger Things finale also feature scenes of the father-daughter duo, Eleven and Jim Hopper. Brown reflected on shooting those emotionally charged scenes with Harbour, saying, “Especially the Hopper and Eleven fans. Those scenes that I feel, I think, are going to be quite impactful. I love it.”
The actress continued, “It makes me want to bring my A game every single time I see that I’m on the call sheet working with him because I know he’s bringing it right back.”
Furthermore, Brown also mused about her long history of sharing the screen with Harbour on the show. “Of course, I felt safe. We’ve worked together for 10 years. I feel safe with everyone on that set. Naturally [we]’ve been doing it for so long,” she shared.
“We also play father and daughter, so naturally, you have a closer bond than the rest because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in Season 2,” Brown added.
Brown’s comments come a month after a source reportedly told The Daily Mail that Brown had “filed a harassment and bullying claim” against Harbour, “before they started shooting the last season.” The insider claimed that “there were pages and pages of accusations,” reportedly prompting a months-long investigation.
However, neither actor has addressed the reports, and appeared to have dispelled the rumors when they amicably arrived together at the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere earlier this month. The pair also shared several delightful moments on the red carpet.
