Charlie Puth set to headline Super Bowl 2026 pregame show

Charlie Puth is one of the headliners for the Super Bowl 2026 pregame show. The Super Bowl 2026 pregame aims to highlight American Sign Language, aka ASL, performances. Notably, all signed performances for the pregame entertainment and the Apple Music Halftime Show will be collaborations with Alexis Kashar of Love Sign and Howard Rosenblum of Deaf Equality (via Variety).

Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation, expressed her excitement to have Puth on board alongside other talented artists. She stated, “Charlie, Brandi, and Coco are generational talents, and we are honored to have them – alongside our extraordinary deaf performers – on Super Bowl LX’s world stage.”

Puth, 33, will perform the National Anthem, also known as The Star-Spangled Banner, at the pregame event. This much-anticipated performance comes ahead of the release of his fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever!, on March 6, 2026.

Furthermore, Brandi Carlile will deliver a heartfelt rendition of “America the Beautiful.” Finally, Grammy-winning R&B star Coco Jones will belt out a soulful rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

Perez added, “This moment embodies the very best of culture, live performance, and our country, perfectly kicking off game day.”

This is the first time a non-English-speaking artist will be headlining the coveted Super Bowl 2026. Interestingly, Celimar Rivera Cosme delivered a presentation in Puerto Rican Sign Language at the event.

Charlie Puth expressed his excitement about headlining the pregame entertainment at Super Bowl 2026 on his Instagram. He wrote, “I can’t believe I’m saying this… I will be performing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.”

Unsurprisingly, fans lavished praise on the “Attention” singer in the comments section. One fan wrote, “You AND Bad Bunny? Oh dear, this Super Bowl was made specifically for me.” Another fan commented, “OMGGG I’m so happy and excited!! 2026 is CHARLIE PUTH’S year.”
