Michael B. Jordan has confirmed new momentum for the Creed franchise, announcing updates on Creed 4 and revealing that a spin-off series centered on Adonis Creed’s daughter is officially in the works.

Michael B. Jordan has confirmed that Creed 4 is still moving forward, although the film does not yet have a set release timeline. The actor, who debuted as Adonis Creed in 2015 and last appeared in 2023’s Creed III, said he intends to return but hinted that the franchise may evolve beyond him.
“Eventually, definitely,” Jordan stated to Variety. “It’s a franchise that’s been really kind to me in a big way. I love MGM and Irwin Winkler and everything they’ve got going on. I think there’s a bit more story to be mined through that.”
However, Jordan hinted that his role may evolve. He expressed a desire to find new ways to move the story forward without his character, Adonis Creed, always being the central one in the boxing ring.
“Do I want to be in the ring boxing for the next 15 years? Not so much,” he admitted. “But I think there are clever ways and interesting characters we’ve established that we might want to see where that goes, along with some introductions to new ones I have in mind. I still might be able to get a couple of really good swings at the franchise a bit more.”
The most exciting revelation, however, was about a new television show. Jordan confirmed that a Creed spin-off series, already picked up by Amazon, will focus on Adonis Creed’s young daughter, Amara.
“We’re spinning off doing Adonis’s daughter, Amara’s story, the television show that’s picked up at Amazon,” Jordan revealed. “So you’ll be seeing different parts of the Creed-verse, I like to call it. These little IPs are going to keep the universe alive without it being completely reliant on just me to push it through the finish line every time as a boxer. I’ll be adjacent.”
While Creed 4 appears to be further off, Jordan’s confirmation effectively secures the franchise’s upcoming debuts.
