Travis Kelce Receives Apology From Sister-in-Law For This Reason

Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, recently congratulated Travis Kelce for his new record for the Chiefs during their 22-19 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 11. During her excited message on her podcast, she said something for which she immediately apologized to Travis. Kelce did not seem as excited about his achievement because it came during another loss for the Chiefs.

Kylie Kelce recently expressed her excitement surrounding Travis Kelce’s record-breaking game against the Denver Broncos, where the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reached his 84th career touchdown. This made him the all-time touchdown leader for the Chiefs.

Right after this historic achievement, Kylie Kelce addressed it and gave Travis his recognition on her podcast, Not Gonna Lie. Kylie said, “First of all, congratulations to Travis on the franchise touchdown record.” She continued, “For those of you who don’t understand what an accomplishment that is … that stat means that every other player that has played for the Chiefs organization has never had a touchdown record for the Chiefs as much as Travis has now scored.”

She added, “So Travis now owns the record of how many touchdowns he has made for the Chiefs franchise in his career.” In her excitement, she also noted that it would be challenging for anyone else to reach this milestone. She quickly retracted the statement and apologized to Travis to avoid jinxing his achievement.

“So that is an unbelievable feat, something that will be very difficult to get dethroned from knock on wood,” Kylie said first, but she soon followed it up with, “Oh, that was questionable. Sorry Trav, sorry Trav. I fixed it. But seriously, very impressive.”

Others, including teammate Patrick Mahomes, also praised Kelce for this historic achievement. Travis Kelce, however, was not fully satisfied with the milestone since it came during another loss for the Chiefs.

Travis Kelce is now a major part of the Chiefs’ history books and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
