Robert Irwin and Witney Carson have been a really strong pairing on Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars. The fan-favorite DWTS pairing of Robert Irwin and Witney Carson were the first to make it to the top 5 after last week’s semi-final. As they prepared for their finale dance routine, Irwin took time to show his appreciation for Carson and all the work she put in throughout their DWTS journey. In an Instagram story posted by Carson, she shared a picture of the letter, writing, “In case you need another reason to love Robert Irwin,” adding a crying face emoji after it.

In his letter Robert wrote, “I admire your courage as you balance a truly impressive work-load while being a fantastic mum, and your determination and kindness even under huge pressure is inspiring. You have taught me lessons that I’ll take with me for the rest of my life. I feel blessed to know the Carson / Mc Allister’s.”

He further added a few words of reassurance and motivation, writing, “While it is coming to an end, you’ve got me in your corner forever. We Irwin’s tend to stick around! Sorry bud, I’m hard to get rid of. Always remember, when in doubt—send it.”

For the finale, the couples had to participate in three dance rounds, including a freestyle round. Irwin and Carson put up an absolutely amazing show for the audience, despite Irwin suffering a rib injury just before the live show. However, the couple did their best and managed to take home the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy at the end of the night, becoming the winners of DWTS Season 34.
