Wendy’s Taps Into the 6-7 Meme Trend With This Move

After everyone was jumping on the latest brainrot trends, we weren’t too far from businesses incorporating memes into their marketing campaigns. With the 6-7 meme going viral, fast food chain Wendy’s has unveiled a new marketing strategy for Black Friday, offering Small Frosty Classic treats for 67 cents.

Wendy’s joins the 6-7 meme trend with new deal

Wendy’s jumps in on the 6-7 meme trend, offering Frosty Classic Treats for 67 cents, only on November 28. This offer will reportedly be available at participating locations only, while supplies last. After the 6-7 meme went viral, many other fast food chains also grabbed the opportunity and jumped on the viral trend. On November 6 and 7, Pizza Hut offered wings for 67 cents each, as part of their 6-7 menu. Additionally, Domino’s also offered a large pizza with a single topping for $6.70, available for online ordering.

In February 2025, the song “Doot Doot” by Skrilla featured the phrase “6-7” in the lyrics, leading to its widespread use without a particular meaning. The 6-7 phrase gained even more popularity in March 2025 after a young boy was seen using it with a specific hand gesture in a viral video by YouTuber Cam Wilder. Soon, Edits of professional basketball players, including LaMelo Ball, who stands at a height of 6 ft 7 inches, on social media also used the part of the song that mentions 6 7. Most recently, after Dictionary.com named “6-7” Word of the Year, businesses have been incorporating the meme into their promotions.

A large number of edits, pranks, and memes on social media platforms have popularized the phrase further, resulting in its entry into the brain-rot category of memes, as it lacks any meaningful content. On a YouTube video of the clip where it all began, one fan commented, “This kid has done irreversible damage to the human mind.” Another wrote, “That kid must feel like Oppenheimer after creating the atom bomb.”
