Nicole Kidman has provided a personal update following the end of her 19-year marriage to Keith Urban. In a conversation with Ariana Grande for Interview Magazine, published November 24, 2025, Kidman responded to Grande’s question, “How are you?” by saying, “I’m hanging in there.” The actress, 58, also spoke about her recent work on the sequel to Practical Magic, filmed earlier this year. “I felt very safe and protected,” Kidman said, describing her experience on set with co-stars Sandra Bullock, Joey King, and Maisie Williams.
Discussing the emotional impact of filmmaking, Kidman stated, “It can be emotionally draining. But I have such a strong relationship with all those women, so I felt protected and loved. It was just very, very safe.” She highlighted the significance of reuniting with Sandra Bullock for the project, saying, “To come back to something so many years later and go, ‘We’re still able to get this movie made at a big big studio like Warner’s,’ and that Sandy and I were able to produce it and get it made, is insane.”
Reports of Kidman and Urban’s separation emerged in September, with a source confirming to Page Six that the couple had “been living separately since the beginning of the summer.” The same source noted that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.” Kidman filed for divorce on September 30, 2025.
The couple shares two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. According to a source, Kidman is focusing on her daughters and their home life: “The last thing Nicole wanted was a broken family. Her focus [is] on creating new traditions with her daughters and keeping their home life as steady and loving as possible.”
