Taylor Swift has fans in every arena in the world, and the NFL is no stranger to her talent. Previously, 49ers tight end George Kittle shared a viral moment with the singer, where he sang “Love Story” with the star herself, in what he still considers one of the most memorable moments. The athlete once again had all praises for Taylor Swift as he discussed this in a video posted on FanDuel Sports Network.
49ers’ George Kittle praises Taylor Swift
George Kittle sang “Love Story” with Taylor Swift at a bar in Nashville in June 2025, following the Kittle and Kelce Tight Ends & Friends. He had opened up about this experience earlier, but in a recent video posted on FanDuel Sports Network, the athlete once again emphasized how grounded Swift was.
“Taylor Swift is cooler than you actually think she is. She couldn’t be a nicer, more down-to-earth person,” Kittle said of the interaction. He further showered praises on the singer. He said she could not have been any better, and she spent an hour talking to his mother and mother-in-law.
Kittle recalled how he was about to hand a drink to Taylor when the song came in. He confessed that it was his favorite song and he was going to sing it word for word. So when he started, Taylor also joined in, making it a very memorable experience.
He discussed this incident months back with NBC Sports’ Matt Maiocco. He said back then, “I was in the process of handing [my wife] Claire and Taylor drinks for the night, and I was like, ‘I just gotta tell you that ‘Love Story’ … is definitely my favorite Taylor Swift song,…And as I was telling her, it came on the speakers, and I was like, ‘I’m not going to miss this opportunity.‘ You don’t get to sing ‘Love Story’ with Taylor Swift very often.”
Fans loved this little moment where Kittle still seemed to be in awe of meeting Swift, and made it clear in the comment section of the video.
