Sydney Sweeney Spills Her Must-Know Green & Red Flags in Men

Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney recently played a green flag/red flag for Fandango, where the Anyone But You star opened up on what her green flags in men were and what the red flags were. However, Sweeney did seem to need a little nudge in the right direction from Seyfried, who seemed to have a lot more figured out in this discussion.

Sydney Sweeney reveals her green and red flags in men

Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried recently appeared together in a game of green flag and red flag for Fandango. Seyfried read out characteristics to Sweeney, which she had to classify between red flags and green flags. Sweeney started the game by saying she had realized that she liked a lot of red flags. Seyfried responded with “we’ll see” to the comment before reading out the first one from the card.

Seyfried read the first, “Cares deeply about the cleanliness of his house,” to which Sweeney responded, “Green flag.” “Wants to share phone locations,” Seyfried read out the next. Sweeney looked a tad confused but said “red flag” before trying to explain. Seyfried stopped her from doing this, emphasizing strongly that this was a complete red flag.

“Wants you to always look your best,” Seyfried said, reading the next card. Sweeney seemed confused in this one as well and answered an unconvincing “red flag?” looking at Seyfried for directions. Seyfried explained the difference between “look” and feel” and said it was a red flag. Sweeney responded with “This is why you need a good girlfriend in your life.”

The next card read, “Sentimental with family heirlooms,” to which Sweeney responded, “Green flag.” The final one read, “Close with his mom.” Sweeney responded, “Green flag,” to this one, too.

Sydney Sweeney said, “Andrew [Winchester] was a green flag,” referring to Brandon Sklenar’s character in Seyfried and Sweeney’s upcoming movie, The Housemaid.

The Housemaid will release on December 19, 2025.
