Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek is auctioning some of the most iconic memorabilia from his career. Teaming up with Propstore, the actor is offering fans a chance to take home cherished items from his personal collection in Propstore’s Winter Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction. The star will use the proceeds from the sales for his cancer treatment.

James Van Der Beek is auctioning off Dawson’s Creek and Varsity Blues memorabilia

As per the latest reports, James Van Der Beek is auctioning off his wardrobe, props, and set pieces that have been a key part of his career. The actor has teamed up with Propstore for an auction scheduled from December 5 to December 7, 2025. The cherished items will be available during the Winter Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction.

The proceeds from this auction will help the Dawson’s Creek star in his battle against cancer. The father of six revealed his stage 3 colorectal cancer diagnosis last year.

The auction will be especially interesting for Dawson’s Creek fans. They will have the chance to own some of the show’s most iconic items. For example, the necklace Dawson gifted Joey for prom will be priced between $26,400 and $52,800. Meanwhile, Dawson’s pilot episode outfit will be available for around $4,000. Additionally, many other items from the show will also be included.

“I’ve been storing these treasures for years, waiting for the right time to do something with them, and with all of the recent unexpected twists and turns life has presented recently, it’s clear that the time is now,” the actor shared (via PEOPLE). He added, “While I have some nostalgia tugging at me as I part with these items, it feels good to be able to offer them through Propstore’s auction to share with those who have supported my work over the years.”
