The stunning Emily Blunt walked the red carpet at the Elle’s 2025 Women in Hollywood event held at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles. Here, she opened up about her upcoming, long-awaited film, The Devil Wears Prada 2. She also addressed the hype surrounding the recent teaser. In an interview with ET, Blunt mentioned how unexpected the buzz for the teaser was.

When asked about how excited she was about “The Prada 2” teaser, Blunt first reacted to the interviewer referring to the film with a shortened title. “For The Prada? It’s now just called The Prada?” she asked. However, she continued sharing that she is excited that everyone else is excited. “I don’t think any of us expected the whirlwind around it. It’s awesome,” she added. Blunt arrived at the event as one of Elle’s 2025 Women in Hollywood honorees alongside Jennifer Aniston, Teyana Taylor, and Rose Byrne, among others.

Last week, 20th Century Studios dropped a minute-long teaser for The Devil Wears Prada 2. This short glimpse into the much-awaited sequel featured Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep. Streep is seen walking into an elevator, followed by Anne Hathaway’s Andrea Sachs, who joins her inside. As Andrea enters the elevator, she greets Miranda, who says, “Took you long enough.”

The Devil Wears Prada 2 will come out in theaters on May 1, 2026, twenty years after the release of Part 1. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci will reprise their roles in the sequel.
