Tracker Season 3 Sets Return Date After Upcoming Mid-Season Hiatus

The hit CBS action drama series Tracker has set its return date and revealed the change in airing time for Season 3. The TV show originally premiered on February 11, 2024. Season 2 came out on October 13, 2024. The current season premiered on October 19, 2025, and is slated to go on a midseason hiatus in December.

Tracker Season 3 to return with new episodes in March

CBS recently announced its 2025-2026 midseason lineup, revealing the return date of Tracker Season 3 and several others. The third season of Tracker will return on Sunday, March 1, 2025, with new episodes. It will air on 9:00 PM ET, instead of its current timeslot of 8:00 PM ET.

The vacant slot now belongs to Y: Marshals, the upcoming Yellowstone spin-off TV series revolving around Luke Grimes’ Kayce Dutton, which premieres on the day Tracker Season 3 returns.

Developed by Ben H. Winters, Tracker is an adaptation of the 2019 novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver. The plot revolves around Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw, an expert survivalist with remarkable tracking skills, as he finds missing people for law enforcement and individual parties.

The cast also includes Fiona Rene as Reenie Greene and Chris Lee as Randy. Tracker has become a massive hit for CBS, with an 89% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes after 19 reviews for its inaugural season.

In recent months, Tracker has witnessed several cast members’ departures. Before Season 3 came out, Abby McEnany and Eric Graise exited their roles as Velma and Bobby, respectively. This was after Robin Weigert, who essayed the role of Teddi, also exited after the first season.

Notably, in the above-mentioned announcement, CBS also unveiled that Watson Season 2, which also returns on March 1, will air on 10:00 PM ET in 2026. Additionally, Survivor 50 will debut on February 25, and America’s Culinary Cup will have its series premiere on March 4.
