John Knoxville Gets Married in Ceremony Officiated by Iconic Filmmaker

The Jackass legend and Fear Factor reboot host, Johnny Knoxville, surprised fans by announcing he’s officially a married man. He tied the knot with filmmaker and costume designer Emily Ting in a cozy outdoor ceremony attended by just their closest family and friends.

Johnny Knoxville shared the big news on Instagram, revealing that he and costume designer-filmmaker Emily Ting tied the knot in a sweet, low-key outdoor ceremony.

He posted adorable photos of the two standing under a floral arch and even included a shot with filmmaker John Waters, who actually officiated the wedding.

The caption read “Today Emily and I got married and I’m the luckiest and happiest fella in the universe.” Knoxville even shared that their dog, Bucket, was just as excited about the whole ceremony.

Knoxville also thanked Waters, calling him “THE best minister ever,” before ending the post with his classic sense of humor, saying he was turning off Instagram because, well, it was their wedding night.

The photos he shared are pure warmth. The images show Emily holding Bucket’s leash in one pic, and Knoxville grinning ear to ear as he stands beside her and Waters in another.

This is Knoxville’s third walk down the aisle. He was first married to Melanie Lynn Clapp, and they share a daughter, Madison. Later, he married Naomi Nelson, with whom he has two sons, Rocko and Arlo. He and Nelson split in 2022.

As for Emily Ting, she and Knoxville already have a solid creative history together. They’ve teamed up on Jackass Forever and Jackass 4.5, and she’s also worked on fan-favorite shows like I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson and Comedy Bang Bang.

Even though Knoxville and Ting haven’t shared the full timeline of their relationship, they’ve never been shy about showing love for each other. Back in March, Knoxville posted a sweet birthday message calling her his “best friend and baby,” saying he was “eternally grateful” to walk through life with her.
