Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have often faced criticism for their actions. While many might believe this might have caused a rift between the two, an expert believes the contrary. According to the royal expert, over the years, the royal couple has bonded over controversies and criticism, which has made their connection stronger than before.
Expert explains how Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have bonded over criticisms
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have often faced backlash for their actions in some way or another. While many might believe this may have caused trouble in their relationship, royal expert Duncan Larcombe does not think so! As per him, it is in fact the criticism that made them stronger as a couple.
“There have been times in their marriage where it’s been Meghan and Harry against the world,” he told the Mirror.
“A clear theme from when they first met in the very beginning, has been how protective Harry is of Meghan.” As per Larcombe, the Duke of Sussex is a “very loyal husband – much more so than most, because Meghan gets an awful lot of negative publicity, especially online.”
Harry has always supported his wife in “court cases,” and has also spoken out “against those people that have wronged Meghan, which in his mind has included the Princess of Wales, Catherine.”
“There’s also been a lot of heartbreak in their marriage but their similar past experiences and traumas are what holds them together and makes them stronger” and they have “bonded” over them, feels the expert. “A lot has happened in Harry’s life that Meghan can feel sorry for, and therefore feel like she wants to protect him and look after him too.”
Additionally, since giving up the royal duties and moving to the US, Harry has “isolated himself from the inner circle of friends he used to rely on,” which has brought him even closer to Meghan, claims Larcombe.
