Insider Daniel Richtman reported that Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man will be in Avengers: Doomsday, reigniting speculation about whether Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will appear in the crossover.
Sources reported conflicting early claims about Holland’s inclusion because Peter Parker’s post-No Way Home status quo reset his storyline. The multiversal spell erased his identity from public memory, which could explain why he may not join the initial fight against Doctor Doom. Richtman reported last month that Holland won’t be part of Avengers: Doomsday, though later reports mentioned planned Spring 2026 reshoots.
Another set of reports showcased a September 2025 fan sighting of Maguire in London, where Doomsday was filmed before wrapping. Observers suggested that Maguire’s Peter Parker returned to his universe at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, making Doomsday his second MCU appearance, if confirmed.
Additional online discussion increased after alleged leaks surfaced showing a bloodied Maguire wearing a version of his classic suit in front of a blue-screen backdrop.
