Kardashian Clan Deleted Sussexes’ Photos To Protect ‘Public Image’ — Expert

Images of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party briefly appeared online before being deleted. And according to PR expert Mayah Riaz, the Kardashians’ team may have removed the Sussexes’ photos to avoid unwanted attention, especially given the timing near Remembrance events. The expert opined that the decision likely reflects routine “brand protection.”

Kardashian family might feel that Sussexes photos ‘might draw unwanted controversy,’ per expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s appearance at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebration sparked interest online after photos of the couple at the event were uploaded and then removed shortly afterwards. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among the celebrity guests at the James Bond-themed party hosted at Jeff Bezos’ California megamansion last weekend. Harry attended in a classic tuxedo, while Markle wore a sleek black roll-neck top with a matching skirt.

The Mirror reported that the disappearance of the party photos may be tied to a consent form the Sussexes allegedly signed upon arrival, specifying that they did not want images of themselves released publicly. However, PR and communications expert Mayah Riaz told the outlet that additional factors may have been involved.

Riaz explained that the Kardashian family is “extremely media-savvy” and highly deliberate with their public image. She noted that if the photos vanished from social media, it was “unlikely to be accidental.” One possible reason, she said, is that the Kardashians’ team may have felt the photos “might draw unwanted attention or controversy.” She added that the family often avoids associations that could lead to criticism or political complications, describing such decisions as part of broader “brand protection.”

Riaz also suggested that Harry and Meghan’s own team could have requested the removal. The Sussexes are known for managing their public appearances carefully, and she said they might have felt the photos did not align with their messaging or could appear inappropriate given the circumstances.
