At the London premiere of Stranger Things Season 5 on November 13, 2025, as she posed in front of the cameras, one of the photographers shouted, “Smile!” towards the actress. However, this displeased her, and she left.

When asked to smile by a photographer at the red carpet of the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere in London, the Enola Holmes star pointed back at them and fired off a quick response. “Smile? You smile!” she said.
The footage of Millie Bobby Brown’s reaction has since circulated among her fans. Many agreed that asking a celebrity to smile rubs them the wrong way, and it is one of the old school pressroom habits. Some netizens even called out the photographers, claiming that they can not dictate how the stars present themselves.
