Simone Biles said, “It’s just who I am, and I feel like I’ve always tried to be open, honest, and relatable.” She highlighted that while Olympic medals may not reflect everyday realities, sharing personal experiences and insecurities helps her connect with others on a deeper level. “Seeing me win medals at the Olympics, that’s not relatable. But what is relatable is how we feel about ourselves, what we go through, and how we share openly.”
Biles’ conversation with PEOPLE began after she revealed on TikTok that she has had three plastic surgeries, noting that two of them are nearly undetectable. She didn’t initially name the procedures, but in the comments she responded to followers’ guesses, confirming a few details while remaining playful about others.
The gymnast hinted at her breast augmentation with a simple cherry emoji, but she openly acknowledged undergoing lower blepharoplasty and earlobe repair. “I got a lower bleph because me and my family have, I call it, the ‘Biles eye bags,'” she explained. “We’ve just always had them, hereditary, and so that was just a big flaw. Every time I would go to a shoot, they’re like, ‘Oh, can we put some strips on her?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, baby, I had 12 hours last night, these aren’t going away.'”

She spoke openly about her breast augmentation and stressed that she didn’t pursue the procedure because she disliked her appearance. “Obviously, you can notice the breasts,” Biles said. “But other than that, it’s just feeling good about yourself and loving yourself, and I’ve always been very vocal about that.”
