Young & Restless’ Joshua Morrow Exposes Twitter User Posing as Him

Back in 2017, Joshua Morrow, who plays Nicholas Newman on The Young and the Restless, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an update on an injury suffered by his son. While most fans replied with wishes for the young boy to get well soon, impersonators of Morrow were recently spotted trying to dupe fans out of money. A few fake accounts recently replied to fans’ comments asking for money, and now, Morrow has called them out.

Joshua Morrow foils impersonator’s plan to dupe a Young and Restless fan of money

The Young and the Restless’ Joshua Morrow recently took to X to raise awareness about his impersonators on the platform. He wrote in a post with the fake profile’s post attached, “This is a fake. Nobody on our show or anyone in the public eye is going to do that. Be smart.” The impersonator, with Morrow’s name as their username, replied to a fan under a 2017 post from the Y&R actor.

In a post from April 14, 2017, Morrow shared a picture of his son in a hospital bed, captioned, “I love having hyper athletic boys who are fearless….downside is the emergency rooms have the Morrows on speed dial. #BustedWing.” At the time, fans flooded the post with replies, praying for his son’s speedy recovery. However, accounts impersonating Morrow wrote below some of these replies, asking fans for money.

One fan who wrote in 2017, “Bless his Heart…hope he feels better soon…from South Georgia,” recently recieved a reply from an impersonator who replied, “Thank you so much my beloved fan, i want you to support on his medicine bills.”

Several hours later, Morrow warned fans to be careful of impersonators asking for money, reposting the impersonator’s X post. Meanwhile, on November 4, another impersonator wrote under the same fan’s reply, “Hello beautiful I appreciate the amazing love you have for me. Thanks for being a great fan. Feel free to send me a friend request or message me now if you wish to chat with me.”
