Thompson took to Instagram to respond to Williams’ derogatory comments, further expressing his disappointment.

According to TMZ, Thompson reacted to the Hoopin’ N Hollerin’ podcast clip, coming to support Stallion against the derogatory comments passed by Williams. He wrote, “Referring to my GF as a ‘p***y’ is so disgusting and disturbing. Especially from someone who played in the NBA . How would yall feel if I referred to your wives in such a way ? @patbev21. Do better fellas . Very disappointing.”
In the podcast, Beverley and Williams spoke about Thompson’s decline in performance on the field. Williams further placed the blame on Stallion. He said, “It only takes one p***y to drag a battleship across a desert. That’s how powerful it is.” He further added, “I ain’t saying that’s what it is, but that might be what it is.”
While Williams attempted to praise Stallion, he continued to take a dig at her for the decline in performance. He added, “And that ain’t taking away nothing from Megan Thee Stallion. She might be a great girl. You know what I’m saying? Great for him. But I don’t know if she great for the shot.”
Thompson and Stallion sparked romance rumors early on, but they confirmed in July 2025. She took to Instagram to share a bikini picture, in which Thompson could be spotted. This confirmed their romance rumors. In conversation with PEOPLE, Stallion said, “Oh, we met and it was such a meet cute it was like a f——- movie. I won’t tell you how and I won’t tell you when, but it was a movie that he’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life.”
