Tom Felton, who portrayed Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, and Daniel Radcliffe, the star of the film series, have both moved to Broadway. Tom Felton will make his Broadway debut in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on November 11, 2025.

Felton recently revealed on Good Morning America that his on-screen nemesis lent him some valuable tips ahead of his Broadway debut.

While Tom Felton is gearing up to mark a new chapter in his life, Daniel Radcliffe is already ahead. He has several credits to his name in the field. Radcliffe will soon appear in Every Brilliant Thing, as well.

With Felton returning to play a familiar role in a familiar story, he opened up about how Radcliffe gave him some important tips on Good Morning America.

“I’ve taken a few tips from Potter, this is true,” the 38-year-old actor told GMA. “I saw him in his first show 10 plus years ago, and now obviously he is a Tony winner and a big inspiration for the reason why Broadway is so special,” he continued. Radcliffe began his Broadway run back in 2008 and won his first Tony in 2023.

As for Tom Felton, he will portray the role of Draco Malfoy in the Broadway show. This is a role he last played in 2011, in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. “I helped shape [Draco] definitely as a kid, but this time, he has a son, he’s a dad, so I’m taking on all sorts of parental duties as a Malfoy, which has been fun,” Felton said about the beloved role.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child premiered on Broadway in 2018. Set 19 years after the events of the last film, it primarily follows Albus Severus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy.

Tom Felton will soon be seen on stage in this Harry Potter adaptation.
