Young Miko is ‘excited’ for Bad Bunny’s 2026 Super Bowl performance

Young Miko has shown her support for Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl set. In an interview with Complex, the “Vendetta” rapper stood firmly in defense of the Puerto Rican superstar. She also disagreed with claims that his singing in Spanish will not resonate with audiences at large.

She revealed, “There’s a language barrier, so maybe there are people that are, I don’t know, feeling a certain type of way about it, but we all share the same world.” Further, she added, “There’s different colors and languages and sizes and orientations, and there’s a space for absolutely everybody.”

Young Miko is also of Puerto Rican origin and is steadily cementing her place as one of the most talented artists to watch. The “Princess Peach” hitmaker is also excited to witness the impact of Bunny’s Super Bowl set.

The rapper added, “I think it’s such a special time for him to be on such a big stage and for him to put once again the flag of Puerto Rico in such a high place and in such a big spotlight.” Further, she said, “I think that’s what he does best. So I’m honestly just so excited to see what he’s gonna do.”

Notably, Bad Bunny addressed the conversation surrounding his Super Bowl set on Saturday Night Live. In his witty monologue, the Latin superstar did not hold back from hitting back at his critics and naysayers.

The “Volando” singer said, “You might not know this, but I’m doing the Super Bowl halftime show. And I’m very happy, and I think everybody’s happy about it. Even Fox News,” as the live audience cheered for him.

Furthermore, the Latin singer expressed his gratitude at being given the opportunity to headline the Super Bowl halftime show next year. He thanked his fans for their unwavering love and support, and those in the Latin community who paved the way. The 2026 Super Bowl will be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8.
