McDonald’s Unveils ‘Stranger Things’ Happy Meal With Collectible Toy

McDonald’s has stepped into the Upside Down with a new Stranger Things-themed Happy Meal. This box gives fans a mini collectible along with a spicy new dipping sauce. This is a limited-time offering. It is currently released in parts of Europe and Latin America. The box offers a Hellfire Sauce and a toy featuring characters from the show’s final season.

McDonald’s ‘Stranger Things’ happy meal comes with a mystery mini figure

The McDonald’s Stranger Things-inspired Happy Meal includes a Big Mac, along with medium fries, a medium drink, and a new Hellfire Dipping sauce. McDonald’s Portugal claims that for an extra fee, customers who buy a regular or large combo can add a Stranger Things box for about 1€. With this, they will get the branded box and a mystery mini figure.

The Stranger Things Happy Meal at McDonald’s features characters such as Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Will, and Lucas. Apart from the kids, a small Demogorgon figure has also been teased.

Fans quickly reacted after seeing the Stranger Things-inspired Happy Meal box. One of them commented, “Omg those need to come to the USA.” Other social media accounts are also hoping that the food chain releases this box in other countries, as many fans are requesting the same. Right now, it is only available in Spain, Portugal, and Argentina. McDonald’s has not yet confirmed a wider release for North America.

This McDonald’s x Stranger Things Happy Meal collab comes at a time when Netflix is preparing to drop the final season. New episodes are scheduled to release on November 26, 2025, with the final season’s second part scheduled to drop later this year in December.

However, McDonald’s is not the only brand that is riding the Stranger Things train right now. Other chains have already launched Hawkins-based products, such as KFC’s red-bun burger in the UK and Doritos releasing an “upside-down” packaging.
