Marvel’s Chadwick Boseman To Get a Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Chadwick Boseman, the beloved Marvel hero, will be honored posthumously with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to cinema. Ryan Coogler, director of Boseman’s biggest blockbuster, Black Panther, and Viola Davis will speak at the ceremony. The late yet much-deserved recognition celebrates Boseman’s incredible legacy and irreplaceable impact on the entertainment industry.

Late Chadwick Boseman to be honored on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Five years have gone by since the world lost Chadwick Boseman, the incredible actor who left an indelible mark on cinema. Gone too soon, at just 43, due to colon cancer, fans and friends still feel the void of his passing. The Marshall actor has received multiple prestigious awards since his passing.

In yet another recognition for his outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment, Boseman will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony will take place on November 20 at 11:30 a.m. PT. His widow, Simone Ledward-Boseman, will accept the honor on the late star’s behalf.

Steve Nissen, president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, will host the event. Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, released a statement confirming the honor. “The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is deeply honoured to celebrate Chadwick Boseman’s extraordinary legacy with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His powerful performances and enduring impact both on and off screen continue to inspire generations around the world.”

Chadwick Boseman‘s career spanning over two decades comprises notable roles in 42, Get On Up, Marshall, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and, not to forget, Black Panther. He has numerous accolades, including Academy Awards and Oscar nominations.

Bosemann received the Golden Globe award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. He also bagged a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for his role in “What If…?”.

Variety‘s X post on Chadwick Boseman receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame garnered massive fan reactions. “Should’ve got it long before he passed,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “Very well deserved honor. I just wish he was alive to witness it.”
