Travis Kelce reveals how he spent bye week in New York City on the November 12 episode of the New Heights podcast. Kelce and his fiancée Taylor Swift reportedly stepped out for many romantic date nights in Manhattan, New York. However, during the episode, Kelce did not explicitly mention Swift.
Travis Kelce talks about NYC trip with Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift appears to have made the most of his bye week by going on a trip to New York City. His team, the Kansas City Chiefs, played their last game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, November 2. Post which the Chiefs had time off, known as bye week, until their next match against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 16.
Travis revealed, “I went over to New York. Just hung out, man. Put the feet up. Saw some cool places, ate some great food.” The Chiefs tight end also shared that he is a fan of the city, which he has visited multiple times with Swift.
He spoke enthusiastically, “Got to feel the Big City, and its electricity and its buzz that it’s always got. And, yeah, it’s my favorite time right now as the seasons are changing, to be around the Midwest and the Northeast. And, yeah, it was pretty fun.”
Expanding on his love for NYC, Travis shared he enjoys indulging in regular activities in the Big Apple. He gushed to Jason, “It’s cool to just kinda vibe around the city like that.”
Travis quipped, “I think that’s one of my favorite things to do in New York: just, you know, be one with the city.” “Just kinda walk the streets and feel the electricity, feeling everybody doing their own s**t, and then meeting a few new people on the way. That’s another reason I love New York: I love to people watch,” he added.
Further, he also added that he has “some new friends” in NYC he likes to visit. The NFL star did not explicitly mention Swift or the dates they reportedly went on. On November 5, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were spotted visiting one of Swift’s favourite restaurants, Zero Bond, in Manhattan (Page Six).
